Syndrome of Fire is a band that has a heavy edge but with a twist. We have been compared to evanesence, cold play, nickelback, paramore, and dream theater all mixed into one. Crazy right? Syndrome of Fire is not a Christian band but we are all believers who write about what is on our heart. We do rock concerts but you see us in our churches on weekends leading worship. We have a message of hope and grace in our music but we choose to play anywhere that opens thier doors to us.

A person may not think that a diagnosed tone deaf singer, a guitar player who had previously only played the 4 strings of a bass, and a drummer who has confessed to have lost his rhythm would be the most ideal band to change the world; however, that is exactly what Triple Stitch has set out to do. After a national tour and a rigorous practice schedlue, they are well on their way to doing just that.

Saying All In A Year hit the ground running is a bit of an understatement. It has been more of an all out sprint, and they are still going at that speed! AIAY formed in January 2010, and very quickly had written a number of songs. This sound can be described as a Christian cross between A Day to Remember and Four Year Strong. If you are looking for a fun, energetic time make sure to check out an All In A Year show!

Saved On Sunday or SOS is a new band from Des Moines, IA. The band formed in February of 2009 and has since recorded their first album “Change The World” which consists of entirely their own material. The band consists of Daniel Brown (singer, songwriter, guitar, bass and keyboard), Clint Marker (songwriter, bass and guitar), Jeremy Taft (lead guitar) and Matt Bowlin
(drums). SOS recorded their first album with multi-grammy award winning producer Gary S. Paxton and Greg Roller in Branson, Missouri at Roller Music Pro Studios in June of 2009. Saved On Sunday strongly believes in delivering great, competitive music with a clean message. “Change The World” offers many different styles in the playlist. Rock (a few variations thereof), blues, piano ballads, alternative and even reggae can be heard in their new album!
Daniel Brown started the group and wrote all of the lyrics in the album. Growing up as a pastor’s son in church, he learned to sing and play in his father’s church’s praise and worship team (which he now leads). Daniel wanted to pursue music and formed SOS, with nothing but high goals and expectations. As the main songwriter and singer, his influences in music heavily affect the SOS sound. Everything from Stevie Ray Vaughn to Lynyrd Skynyrd and from UB40 to Santana. The band carries influences from all types of music, bringing a very interesting blend of styles to their audience. They truly have created a very personal and unique variety of music not commonly found in most mainstream music.
Clint Marker also writes music for the band and learned to play and sing in the same church as Daniel. He plays the bass guitar mainly on the album, but also plays guitar on “Take Me To A Place,” a song he compiled the music for. Jeremy Taft joined the group as the lead guitarist, bringing shredding leads and rich tones that really helped the band reach the sound and mood that they were striving for. Matt Bowlin joined the group after their start when the band’s original drummer left. He went to school with Daniel and played with him in drumline and their own high school rock band.

The upset of "Nihilio (2006-2009)," left remaining members Nate Washburn (guitar) and Ryan Menghini (vocals) in a strange catch-22. To make things worse, Nihilio fans had to suffer through a blunt ending, getting mixed answers from each member concerning the direction of the band. The end was near, and as hard as it was to leave 5 best friends, Washburn and Menghini knew it was time to part-ways. "Blank Page Empire" proves itself and looks to be a promising project to add to the Twin Cities arsenal of independent acts.

The guys in the Christian, Melodic Hardcore band Senseless Beauty are no strangers to patience and distress. In the years that they began they endured many long nights, slugging it out in the Midwest. Most times they played for next to nothing, investing much of their own blood, sweat, and money. In the land paved by Slipknot and Too Pure To Die, a place of scenes and straight edger's, Senseless Beauty withstood diversity and local scrutiny to make something that breaks the mindset and the mold that most "hardcore" or "metal" bands adhere to.
